Mariano Biazzi Alcántara
(Panama,1967)

Architetto, nato a Panama, vive e lavora a Cremona. Si è avvicinato alla fotografia da appassionato autodidatta, ispirato dalle opere dei grandi maestri, dedicandosi principalmente alla fotografia di architettura e del paesaggo urbano. Nel corso degli anni ha approfondito il tema dell’instant art mediante l'uso di macchine fotografiche e pellicole Polaroid utilizzando tecniche di manipolazione e di image transfer.

Architect, born in Panama, lives and works in Cremona (Italy). He approached photography firstly driven by strong passion and inspiration for the classical Great Masters art works, dedicating his interests to architectural black/white photography and urban landscape.

Through the years he has deepened the knowledge of Polaroid and instant art photography approaching those important techniques, like manipulation and image trasfers, that will become some of his means of artistic expression.
